MARA eCommerce Portal ~ Official Visit & MOU Signing Ceremony

On the 15 July 2005, FaraTech (M) Sdn Bhd received the visit of the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, YB Dato’ Hjh Khamsiyah Yeop.

This visit was followed by a MOU signing ceremony between MARA and FaraTech held at the Palace of The Golden Horses. MARA top management and other VIPs attended to this signing, which main objective was to further expand the scope of an economic cooperation and development through ICT for the Bumiputera entrepreneur in Malaysia. This MOU signing signifies the partnership between MARA and FaraTech in which the latters is appointed to design and develop the MARA eCommerce Portal.

About MARA eCommerce Portal

MARA eCommerce Portal comprises of an Information Portal, an Online Directory and eCommerce. It offers a broad array of resources and services accessible through the Internet for MARA subscribers to broadcast, retrieve and exchange data over the digital communication network.

The Online Directory consists of business directory listings, which enable convenient and efficient searches of business information via business category, location, product, keyword, type of industry etc. The eCommerce platform enables users to promote their products and services and secure transactions online are available.
